（中央社記者曹宇帆洛杉磯15日專電）虛擬實境科技應用層面越來越廣，美國職棒大聯盟的坦帕灣光芒隊率先引進這項技術，賽前訓練打者與他隊的投手模擬對決，光芒沒說明這套設備投資金額，僅說大約6位數美元。

美國職棒大聯盟MLB每支球隊每個球季的例行賽要打162場，打者如何適應與投手之間對決，賽前得找特定的餵球投手讓打者模擬，不過當與對方投手實戰時，感覺還是有些差距。

據「洛杉磯時報」（LA Times）7日報導，光芒找來生產虛擬實境設備的公司EON合作，證明成效還不錯。光芒4日戰洛杉磯道奇隊，右外野手蘇薩（StevenSouza）就從道奇投手伍德（Alex Wood）敲出本季第6轟。

蘇薩說，今年與伍德的對戰就這麼1場，之後何時再遭遇伍德誰也說不準，能夠在站上打擊區前，看到伍德在虛擬實境的螢幕裡投球，確實有助於熟悉他的球路。

EON執行長芮里（Brendan Reilly）今年29歲，他說，這套模擬打者與投手對決的虛擬實境設備，可達到擬真程度，使打者練習當下就可熟悉當天要對決的投手球路。

此外，虛擬實境可鉅細靡遺模仿投手的任何動作與球路，打者可掌握揮棒的時間點，更胸有成竹與投手對決。1050516
